Come and visit the newly renovated play area at Ross Park! The play area features tall towers and slides that were highly requested by Anaheim's youth, as well as a climber spinner, musical instruments, and sensory play pieces. The red, white, and blue themed amenities were designed to honor the park's namesake, Betsy Ross. Funding for this project comes from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.

Fitness stations and sidewalk improvements have been completed at Maxwell Park. You will find the new fitness equipment along the walkway just south of Haskett Library. Aloe Promenade is a new park totaling .62 acres. Linear in shape, this park offers shaded seating areas, art, bocce ball court, foosball table, turf areas, a water feature, and landscaping.
The Anaheim Ducks, the City of Anaheim, KABOOM!, and community volunteers came together on September 16th to build a playground at Center Greens Park, a new park next to Anaheim City Hall and the Downtown Anaheim Community Center.
The 4,300-square-foot playground includes a climbing wall, a bridge, monkey bars, a circular spider web climber, spinners, bucket swings, a companion swing, a zip line, teeter-totter and game and musical panels. The playground is the result of a fun-filled design day on July 15, where more than 50 children and parents from the neighborhood, the Anaheim Family YMCA and Anaheim summer programs joined with KABOOM! and Anaheim Ducks Head Coach Dallas Eakins, future Ducks prospects players, the Ducks Street Team and mascot Wild Wing to come up with features and designs.
This is the 15th KABOOM! playground in Anaheim and the first sponsored by the Anaheim Ducks.
Rio Vista KABOOM! Playground ImprovementsOn June 30th, volunteers from KABOOM!, the Abbvie Foundation, City of Anaheim, and the community came together to build a playground in ONE day at Rio Vista Park! It was a lot of hard work, but the resulting playground was well worth it. The playground includes a large climber with two slides, multiple swings, teeter totter, spinners and a zip line. If you haven't already, be sure to visit Rio Vista Park soon to see this community-designed and built playground!

Improvements to the Central Library included the installation of a shade structure, maintenance access gate, wall-mounted security cameras and electrical outlets.
Ponderosa Park - St. Jude Medical Health Clinic
The newly constructed St. Jude Medical Health Clinic provides neighborhood access to wellness exams, immunizations, prenatal care, pediatric care, diabetes care, chronic disease management, mental health, dental and vision. The vibrant, 5,000 sq-ft building opened in December 2021.

Our 13th KaBOOM! playground is open for play at Cottonwood Park! For months, representatives from the City of Anaheim, Anaheim Family YMCA, Edwards Lifesciences Foundation and KaBOOM! worked together to design and install a new playground at Cottonwood Park. Kids from the community participated in a virtual Design Day where they came up with ideas for their dream playground. The site also features a Gratitude Wall mosaic, designed and installed by local Orange County artist, Amanda Seibel, which includes individual tiles with drawings from more than 100 Edwards employees.
Maxwell Dog ParkThe long-awaited Maxwell dog park provides residents, families and, of course, dogs, with an awesome new place to play. The 1-acre dog park, Anaheim's fourth, includes spaces for large and small dogs, agility courses, grassy hills drinking fountains for people and dogs, bone-shaped benches and ample shade trees.
Ross Park - YMCA Soccer ComplexThe new Anaheim Family YMCA Community Complex complements the adjacent Ross Park by providing a space that supports different activities, including programmed sports like soccer and futsal, and other recreational activities, allowing for active and passive recreational use. Lincoln Park - Parking Lot Improvements
Improvements to Lincoln Park included the installation of a new park monument sign, making the park more visible to Broadway Ave. Also included were additional landscape amenities, an accessible sidewalk and ramp, and additional parking spaces.
